Scalability
Platforms outlast the projects that build them. I put self-service infrastructure and golden paths in place so the tenth team onboards as fast as the first.
Embedded in engineering teams at Orcrist, E.ON, Allianz, Volkswagen, Bundesdruckerei, Nelly Solutions, and Telefónica. I take over backlog, discovery, and operating rhythm and stay until the team runs on its own.
Most recently at Orcrist, I led a GitOps / IDP platform for law enforcement on GKE — Zero Trust security, FluxCD, policy-as-code. At E.ON, I put AI into production for 8M+ energy customers under KRITIS — 2M+ monthly LLM interactions at 92% accuracy, MLOps pipelines, agentic observability. At Allianz, I built developer self-service with compliance baked in — cloud provisioning from over a year to weeks. At Volkswagen, I built the commerce backbone for five brands — 1M+ users with live pricing and live inventory.
Before that, six years at Capgemini and Erminas, where I learned the fundamentals: software engineering, systems design, and delivery across fintech, retail, insurance, and aerospace. I studied welding engineering, computer science, health economics, and machine learning: research at four universities across Hamburg, Copenhagen, San Diego, and the University of Federal Armed Forces. Work in enough different worlds and you know the patterns.

Once a platform is live, people depend on it. I work where the decisions happen, incident calls included, and build the operating rhythm and playbooks with the team. A great platform was never the real goal. A team that runs it without me is.
GDPR, BSI, KRITIS, Gematik. I've shipped under all of them. Compliance shapes the architecture from the first design decision. Treat it as a checklist for the week before launch and it will cost you.
I measure before I change anything, and I keep measuring after it ships. SLOs the team agreed to, traces that show what the platform is doing in production, a dashboard someone opens every morning.
AI is part of how I think now, not just what I ship — alongside the product tools I've leaned on for years.
Ten years embedded in regulated, large-scale organisations. Different sectors, the same problems underneath: platforms that need to scale, comply, and outlast the project.
See the workEnterprise GitOps / IDP on GKE for mission-critical law enforcement workloads. Zero Trust security, FluxCD, policy-as-code. Application teams self-serve on paved roads.
AI in production for 8M+ energy customers under KRITIS. 2M+ monthly LLM interactions at 92% accuracy. Consolidated six monitoring tools into one OpenTelemetry platform.
Getting a cloud environment took over a year. Built developer self-service with compliance baked in. Same thing now takes weeks.
Five brands, five ordering systems, no shared inventory. Built the commerce backbone that unified them. 1M+ users see live pricing and live inventory.
Every ministry was building its own data platform from scratch. Designed one sovereign platform they all share. Production-ready v2.0.
PVS connectors, embedded finance, and AI layer for 1,200+ practices and 2M+ patients. Launched Italy, made Spain ready.
Customer data scattered across nine touchpoints. Unified with Adobe Real-Time CDP and launched AI-driven lifecycle journeys.
